Benalla Auto Club Sprints The Benalla Auto Club Sprints is a four round Series which has enjoyed a great popularity over the past few years. The addition of a Junior Class has proved popular giving teenagers between 16 and 18 a chance to improve their driving skills and with a Ladies Class it is a family affair in most cases. The low cost of the Sprint Series also gives competitors who would love to race but find the cost prohibitive the opportunity to test their abilities and skills on the race track.
Sprints are popular with both race cars and road cars
Trophies are awarded for the first three placegetters
in each of the six classes run on the day. Also the
first three in each classes will receive a trophies for
the championship results.
Members Benifits Benalla Auto Club Members are owners of the Winton Motor Raceway Facility. Through an elected Committee each year the Benalla Auto Club manages the operations of the Circuit and its other activities. Benalla Auto Club is the only Club in Victoria that owns and operates a CAMS licensed race track and is one of four Clubs who do so in Australia. When you become a member of the Benalla Auto Club you receive a vote at the Annual General Meeting to appoint a member of the club to the Committee. Members also receive free admission to all Benalla Auto Club conducted Events which includes The Shell Australian Touring Car Championship, The BOC Gases Australian Super Touring Championship and the Australian Super Truck Racing Championship. Members also receive an invite to compete in the Benalla Auto Club Sprints Series as well as receiving a monthly Club Magazine updating members on The Benalla Auto Club happenings.
